ADVANCES IN BIOLOGICAL CONTROL & IPM 2019

The image opposite shows Dr Jacobson, Prof Bruce and Prof Walters, the past, present and future Convenors of the AAB’s IPM Group at the 2019 conference. Prof Bruce commented - “Rob’s paper, ‘IPM in protected crops: Theory into practice’, was very well received with many delegates commenting on how interesting and relevant it was to them. It fitted very well with the conference theme - ‘Addressing the Innovation Crisis’. Rob’s talk outlined success stories from the glasshouse sector showing that there is scope for reducing dependency on pesticides and implementing biological tools in real commercial grower situations”.
